Udupi: Former president of the Udupi district chapter of the Kannada Sahitya Parishad Neelavar Surendra Adiga, on Friday January 23, filed his nomination for the post of president.

The elections will be held in a few days.

Taluk Magistrate Guruprasad, who is also the designated Election Officer accepted his papers.

Adiga was accompanied by representatives of various organizations and institutions like Ravi Shetty, Sadarama Shetty, Veeranna Karuvatti Gowdar, Subrahmanya Shetty, Upendra Somayaji and Narayana Madi among others.
