Udupi: In a tragic incident, an elderly woman lost her life after she was hit by a goods train on Saturday, September 8 here at Barkuru Railway Station in Brahmavar Village.

The deceased has been identified as Girija (65).

Girija was on her way back home when the incident took place.

A case has been by the Bramavara police.
