Udupi: Dr. Ikalabava Deviprasad Shetty was honoured with an international award by the European Continental University (ECU) United State of America for his contribution to rural development last week.
The prestigious award was conferred on achievers at the global level. Dr. Deviprasad was considered for the award for his excellence in developing rural areas.

Governor of Delaver state in America Prof. Dr Rauph Thomas felicitated Dr. Shetty with the award. Singapore University head Dr Chin Hong Kin, Sri Lanka external affairs minister Tony Pinto, ECU Registrar Dr Jastrin Clark were present.
