Udupi: Dr. Arun, the Superintendent of Police in Udupi, has informed that Praveen Chougale has been taken into custody in connection with the murder case of four members of a family in Nezar.

He said, “We have apprehended Praveen Chougale and are investigating the matter. We brought him into custody based on technical and human intelligence and are currently interrogating him.

We expect to have a full picture by the evening.” Chougale was detained with the assistance of Udupi and Belagavi district police, and various suspects are also undergoing interrogation, he added.
