Udupi: Nearly 20 students had a miraculous escape when the school van they were travelling in collided against a tipper at Mallar near Kaup here on Monday, July 30.

The students, belonging to the Crescent International School were unhurt in the accident that occurred owing to negligent driving of the school van driver. Reportedly the van driver had driven onto the wrong side of the road when it collided against a tipper coming from the opposite direction.

Kaup Police are investigating the case.
