Mulki: Two persons were injured in Lorry-car collision here at Padu Panambur in Mulki station limits on Wednesday. In the mishap the car driver and co-passenger suffered serious injuries.

The Swift Desire car which was heading towards Udupi from mangalore, hit the lorry coming from the opposite direction. As a result the front side of the car got damaged completely. The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital.

High speed and irresponsible driving is said to be the reason for the mishap.

North Zone traffic police have registered a case in this regard and are further investigating the matter.
