BSY demands permanent solution for sea erosion

Udupi: Former CM Yedduyrappa and present Shivamoga MP said that the government reserve crores as temporary relief from the sea erosion menace every year but it is not utilised properly. He demanded a permanent solution to tackle it and also demanded an inquiry for the amount of Rs 900 crore released to build permanent sea walls from Karwar to Ullal against sea erosion.


Regarding Akshatha Devadiga’s murder case he said, it is high time for the government to release buses to the long and remote areas. He added that He said we cannot lose one more student like her and demanded the government to support the family.

He alleged state is ruled by an anti-development government which has failed to support the sugarcane growers. BJP members on June 28, will be organising padyatra from Ankalagi to Belagum, 20 km condemning the ignorant attitude by the government towards the farmers who end lives every year.

He demanded resignation of minor irrigation minister Shivraj Tangadagi claiming the responsibility of a farmer’s suicide. A protest rally will be organised at Koppala on June 27 in this regard in which 4000 members are expected to participate, he added.

Union railway minister will be releasing funds for the Konkan railway route doubling and electrification work. NH work completion, nationalisation of Maple hosanagara road will be considered soon.
