Udupi : Two men along with a police constable have been accused of blackmailing a man with false claims of possessing obscene photos of his daughter here on August 31.

In the complaint it is stated that Constable Sudhir and girl’s cousin Mohammed Shamil from Udupi allegedly threatened her father by claiming to possess obscene photos of his daughter and release it to the media. He also said that Rs 25 lac has been demanded from him with false claims of possessing these obscene photos.

However girl’s father has filed a complaint at nearby police station. Additional SP has assured of taking stern action against the accused.
