Bhasker Shetty case: Three police teams begin investigation

Udupi: Three teams have been formed by Superintendant of Police, K T Balakrishna to investigate the Bhaskar Shetty murder case.

Bhasker Shetty murder case: Wife, son's police custody extended till Aug 16-1According to sources, while one of the team is interrogating the accused in police custody, the second team is working alongside the forensic department. The forensic team is investigating on the bones found in Palli River, clothes of Rajeshwari Shetty and Niranjan Bhat found at a laundry and some ‘homa’ materials from Srinivas Bhat’s house. The third team is working with DNA experts who have arrived from Bengaluru.

SP Balakrishna has appealed the media and public not to spread rumours about the case. Commending the police’ action and investigation process, he said that the case was being handled well by the police department with honesty and integrity.

Menawhile, the SP visited Niranjan Bhat’s house for further investigation.
