Udupi: The police arrested three persons on the charges of betting during the cricket match between India and Bangladesh (World cup Quarter final) on Match 19.

The Police seized amount worth Rs. 3.88 lakh from a flat at Sai Ashram Apartment in Kolambe. The flat reportedly belongs to Sukesh Rao.

Anand Poojary and Ramesh Poojary, were arrested and Police seized a television set, four mobile telephones, a tab and a dairy used for betting.

All the accused were produced before the court.

A case has been registered at Udupi Town Police station and investigations are on.
