Admar Math gets new Swamiji

Udupi :Shrisha S 33rd successor of Admar Math, has been given the title of ‘Eshapriya Teertha Swamiji’ in front of Durgaparameshwari, Kunjarugiri on Thursday June 19.

Shrisha, a 29 year old engineer and the new swamiji said that, “Now I am too young to preach to the community, My first priority is  to visit Krishna and take his  blessings- after which I may be able to speak in front of my guru and senior pontiffs”

In the coming  days Sri Vidyadheeshateertha Swamiji of Palimar Math will be the tutor for new swamiji, who said that there is no doubt about the ability of the Eshapriya Teertha, however his duty is to mould him in such a way that he should be capable to work for the society throughout his life.

The large number of devotees present to witness the auspicious occasion. The religious rituals for the coronation ceremony began from June 16. Rituals like “Teerthasnana”, “Teerthayatre” and “Atmashraddha” were held in the temple here.

The new swamiji,  in saffron clothes, followed the ritual of sanyasa, after which  ‘Pattabishekham ’ was done. Later he was given Upadesha by his predecessor Swamiji.

Sri Vishwapriyateertha Swamiji said that there are 27 educational institutions and a science research center affiliated to Manipal University in Bangalore setup by the Admar Math. So the new swaiji is the ultimate choice to look after these institutions.

He added that Srisha was the choice of Lord God, because he came walking to become his successor and he is a proved teacher.

Srisha was born on March 20, 1985 as the son of Chandrasekhar and Gowri. He has three brothers who are graduates in computer science. One lives in the US, while the others are employed in Bangalore. Their mother Gowri looks after their farms and fields in Shiroor.
