Udupi: Valentine D’Souza will be decorated with the prestigious President police medal for his outstanding and meritorious service in the Police Department on the occasion of Republic Day.

Valentine D’Souza presently serving as the assistant commissioner of police (ACP) of CCRB, Mangaluru has served in several capacities in the police department. Having joined the police service in 1994 batch, D’Souza has won several medals including the Chief Minister’s Medal in 2009 and was also awarded the Udupi district Rajyotsava Award for his meritorious service.
The officer who also has a passion for body building has bagged the Mysore University Gold Medal in Body Building and the 2014 Mister Asia Best Poser Award besides several national and international awards in Body Building.

Valentine D’Souza belongs to Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur parishioner. His daughters are also shining in various competitions in school and Udupi diocese level in academic and school activities.

The medal will be given in a ceremony to be held in Bengaluru on January 26.
