A Unique protest against the Modi Government policies

Udupi :A unique protest against central government was held in the district by Nagarika Samiti near city bus stand on Tuesday June 24.

The protest was mainly against the price rise of essential commodities, Railway fare, petrol and LPG  by the central government. The unique protest was led by Nithyananda Volakkadu who together with his supporters formed a circular human train around a bonfire.

While addressing the media, Volakadu said that the hike in railway fares has  affected the common man. In the name of Namo Modi,Namo India and  Namo Karnataka, Modi government has planned to loot the country, he added.

Ganesh Saralebettu said the hike in the essential commodities will make the common man’s life, hell. The protesters appealed to the central government to safeguard the interests of the common man and revise the railway fare and introduce a sustainable price for the essential commodities.
