Karkala:  Mudradi Manjunath Bhandari, ZP member from Hebri has accused local MLA Sunil Kumar of  not making any effort to  fulfil his promise to solve the  drinking water problem of the area  by implementing  Hebri and Nitte multi-village drinking water  project. Poojary has said the MLA who had given such a promise within 15 days of his election as MLA has now remained silent.

Speaking to reporters here, Poojary also alleged that the MLA was misleading the public by bringing out a booklet on his so called achievements, while he  has only claimed the achievements  of the previous MLA Gopal Bhandari as his own and was enjoying cheap publicity.

Poojary also said the setting up of new government college at Muniyalu, the Ajekar-Agumbe Road and the Muniyalu-Kabbinale Road development all were proposed during the tenure of previous MLA Gopal Bhandari.
