Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr Selvamani R flagged-off the journalists’ association’s publicity vehicle for the state conference in front of the Patrika Bhavan on Monday, March 2.

This publicity vehicle will travel throughout the district over the next five days and create awareness on the journalists’ state conference, which is scheduled to be held on March 7 and 8. After launching the vehicle, Selvamani said that this is the first time in the history of Mangaluru, that a journalists’ state conference is being held here and that it would achieve success with everyone’s cooperation. He also wished for the programme’s success.

Dakshina Kannada district working journalists’ association president Srinivas Nayak Indaje, conference committee convener Jagannath Shetty Bala, Press Club president Annu Mangaluru, Patrika Bhavan Trust president Anand Shetty, Manjunath of Nisarga Publicity and others were present.
