Mangalore: A youth who got trapped in an isolated well near Kadri, was rescued  four days after he fell into it.

Praveen, a 28-year-old man, who is learnt to be suffering from an illness, fell into the well four days ago. He kept screaming for help, but as the well was located in an isolated place no one could hear him.

On Sunday July 6, when two men named Pradeep and Dinesh, were passing by they heard cries for help. On verifying, they found Praveen near Kadri cave inside a well.

As per Dinesh and Pradeep, the youth pleaded for help and said he fell into it four days ago. Thus they informed the Kadri police, who in turn informed the fire service men.

The youth was rescued and admitted to Wenlock hospital.
