Mangaluru:‎‎ An 18-year-old accidentally drowned in the rivulet at Pijakkala of Kadaba in Dakshina Kannada District on the afternoon of Sunday April 3.

The deceased has been identified as Nitesh (18), a resident of Majjagudde near Kadaba High School. He was pursuing ITI in Narimogaru.

The unfortunate incident occurred when Nitesh went for a swim in rivulet with his friends. Kadaba Police visited the spot and local swimmers helped fish out the body from rivulet.
