Mangaluru: A youth aged about 30 years died on the spot after his two-wheeler was run over by a lorry at Kudroli area of Mangaluru on Thursday morning. 
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh (29). The lorry bearing registration number Ka 19 D 1206 belongs to Canara Goods Company and the mishap took place near the busy and congested Kudroli bridge when Ganesh lost control over his vehicle.
According to the police, the youth hails from Kasargod and was employed in Mangaluru.
Due to the intensity of the collision, he has had a severe head injury profusely bleeding him to death.
Road works are on in this stretch adding to traffic woes and as per eye witnesses the commotions on the stretch led to the mishap.
