Mangaluru: A youth has been detained by Pandeshwar police, after he and his friend picked up a quarrel with the two policemen deputed to check vehicles near Mahakalipadpu, on Monday, August 7.

The accused is Imran.

PSI Ravi Pawan and a constable were checking vehicles when Imran and his friend came on a two wheeler.

Over the conversation, Imran is said to have lost his cool and picked up a quarrel with the police and eventually even assaulted the cops.
