Mangaluru: Free books, bags and umbrellas were distributed by Mangaluru South Youth Congress and Attavar ward Congress to the syudents of Jeppu government higher primary school on Saturday, June 18.

Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress President, Mithun Rai said that State government has implemented so many pro educational programmes like mid day meal scheme, Ksheera bhagya, Vidyashree scheme etc.

“Implementing such scheme for the development of poor students is really praise worthy,” he said.

T K Sudheer, Director of KSRTC said that the programme is being organised since 12 years by Congress. This type of programmes helps not only the students but also the parents.
