Mangaluru: A bike rider lost his life after his bike collided against a parked Hitachi heavy vehicle deployed to carry on civil work on Old Nethravathi bridge, early on Saturday morning.
The deceased, whose identity has not yet been ascertained, hails from Sakleshpura.

It is said that the youth who was ripping on his bike, entered the bumpy old Nethravathi bridge, with out a clue that the road was closed for repair. Unable to control the bike on the chipped road, he clashed against a heavy vehicle.
He lost his life on the spot.

Case has been registered at Kankanady police station.
