Newskarnataka – Udupi

Udupi : A young man lost his life  and another person sustained injuries in a gory mishap reported from Tallur on February 20, Thursday. The deceased is Ramesh, son of Lakshman hailing from Brahmavar.

The accident  occurred when  Ramesh was heading towards Hemmady. A car which was proceeding towards Udupi suddenly went out of control and crashed against a truck coming from the opposite direction.  Ramesh’s two-wheeler  was behind the  truck s and he suddenly went off guard and rolled onto the road. He died on the spot. If the car was of Kerala registration, the truck of Maharashtra registration was laden with sand and was proceeding to Kumta.

The  car driver Abhishek too has suffered injuries. However Gautam who was travelling in the car was lucky enough  and was unhurt.

A case has been registered by Kundapur police.
