Yenepoya University signs memorandum of understanding with Teeside University, U.K.

At a simple function organized in Delhi on 19.04.2015, Yenepolya University Registrar, Prof. C.V. Raghuveer and Pro Vice Chancellor, Teesside University U.K., Prof. Mackenzie signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Academic & Professional exchange programmes.  Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the two parties will explore and develop academic cooperation with a view to enhance proposals for activities of joint academic interest.  Under the agreement student and staff exchanges shall take place for starting a dual campus programme leading to M.Sc. in Movement a Rehabilitation Science.  This will be a boon to Physiotherapy undergraduates and postgraduates for acquiring innovative skills leading to a joint masters degree of  U.K. – Y.U.  The Memorandum of Understanding also encourages joint ventures in Research & Development in Sports Therapy, Sports and Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Kinesiology Spinal Rehabilitation, Physical Health and Rehabilitation.

 Prof. Padmakumar, Dean, Faculty of Allied Health & Basic Sciences, Yenepoya University and Dr. Kieth Brownof Teesside University were present at the signing ceremony.
