Mangaluru: Yenepoya Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in association with District AYUSH Department, Mangalore organized the program on 9th June 2020 at KSRP Headquarter, Mangalore, to distribute around 2500 doses of the Homoeopathic medicine to boost the immunity of the COVID – 19 warriors of KSRP, and their family members.

For this program, Mr. U. T. Khadar, MLA, and Mangalore village panchayat president Mr. Mohammed Monu have given their valuable time to inaugurate the program by distributing the first dose of immune booster Homoeopathic Medicine. They addressed the gathering and appreciated the service of the health service by the medical fraternity and Police dept. in bringing lockdown effectively to prevent the spread of COVID – 19. Dr. Mohammed Iqbal, District AYUSH Officer, and Dr. V. V. Vernekar, Dean of Yenepoya Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, were present for this program.

As we know the entire world is facing COVID – 19 pandemic, we all have to follow the guidelines put by the Government of India to combat the dreadful CORONA Virus. It is transmitted through the droplets of the infected person by coughing and sneezing. So, maintaining social distances and wearing a mask is necessary. Corona infects people whose immunity is low, like small children and old age people, and also to COVID- 19 Warriors if not taken proper precautions. So here the immunity has to be boosted up.
There is no medicine as such to the Corona Virus in any system of Medicine. As of today, 7,116,966 cases are confirmed and 406500 deaths are recorded globally. In India, the record is 7473 deaths out of 265928 confirmed cases. Karnataka state recorded 64 cases out of 5760 confirmed cases.

By Homoeopathic theory, it is possible to prevent the COVID – 19 as that of any epidemic and pandemic disease. The action is by boosting the immunity of the body; hence the virus does not attack the body.

Examples – 3000 people quarantined in Gujarat state, have been treated with Homoeopathic Medicine. Only four individuals developed COVID – 19 symptoms, due to the incomplete course of medication.

The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) Government of India suggests ‘Arsenic Album 30’ 4 pills twice daily for three days. This course of medicine should be repeated after 21 days. It is useful in building immunity and preventing the COVID – 19 which is simple and safe, to be taken on an empty stomach.
