Mangaluru: A 40-year-old woman from Neermarga has been tested positive for Covid-19 on May 20.

With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases reached 55 in Dakshina Kannada district.

The woman who has been tested positive is said to be a resident of Rajajinagar in Bengaluru.

According to the sources, she came from Bengaluru in a car along with her son on May 10.

As she had some symptoms of Covid-19, she was admitted to Covid Wenlock Hospital on May 17.

Sources also informed that after she came from Bengaluru she had stayed at their houses in Kudupu and Kuttikala.
