Kasargod: A dead body of a lady from Mangalore was found on the railway track at Hosangady, Manjeshwar on Wednesday June 25.
The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Dr K K Geetha. Geetha was a professor at Nehru College of Arts and Science, Padannakkad.
She resided with her husband Srinivas, a bank manager and her son Hari, who is an engineer in Mangalore.
According to reports, on Wednesday afternoon, her husband dropped her at the railway station in Mangalore, where she took a train to Kasargod. In the evening, her body was found on the track.
It is suspected that she might have accidentally fallen off the moving train. A case has been registered in Manjeshwar police station.
