Mangaluru: BJP State Unit President Nalin Kumar Kateel said that there is Congress’ involvement in Santosh’s death. The investigation is on, and the truth will emerge soon. Given the history of State Congress leaders, they might as well protest from prison, added Kateel sarcastically.
Speaking to mediapersons in City on Friday April 15, Kateel questioned as to why K. J. George was not arrested as far as D. K. Ravi suicide was concerned. Further, during Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Government 24 workers died, and thus Siddu must have been in jail. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar who has a case against him with regard to scam today is infact out on bail. Also, Youth Congress President Mohammed Nalapad is facing several cases, and has not been arrested yet. So it is irony that a party with such rich history in the State is insisting on Eshwarappa’s arrest. However, investigation is on and the truth will come out, Kateel asserted.
Elaborating on Santosh case, Kateel said that there is no death note found, and that only the WhatsApp messages are available. He alleged that Congress party does not leave a chance to take political advantage, even if it is a case of death.
