Bantwal:An incident where in two relatives raped a woman hailing from Chandalike in Vittal Kasaba village has been reported on September 22, Sunday night. A complaint has been lodged in Vittal Police station.
As per the complaint, the incident took place when the woman named Deppini was all alone in her house. He brother-in-law Rujith and his relative Naveen who entered the house, reportedly outraged her modesty and even threatened to kill her child and her husband in case she revealed the matter before anyone.
The victim is undergoing treatment at the Puttur Government Hospital. The Vittal police have launched a search for the two accused.
