Mangaluru: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) District President Jagadish Shenava demanded the deportation of Rohingya Muslims terming them a threat to the internal security of country.

In a press meet at VHP Office here on September 27, Shenava said that the union government had filed an affidavit with the Supreme Court of India stating that “as the Rohingyas have links with the terror outfits, their continuance in India would have serious threat to national security.” “Rohingya Muslims are aligned with terrorist organisations like LeT and ISIS. Indian army also exposed that nearly 82 Hindus were murdered and forcibly converted. Hence VHP demands all Rohingya Muslims should be deported to Myanmar”, he demanded.

Condemning former vice president of India Hameed Ansari for taking part in a programme organised by PFI’s National Women’s Front, he said that PFI was the face of banned SEMI organisation. “PFI is involved in the murders of various Hindu activists and terror acts in the country. Being a former vice president of India Hameed Ansari has attended such a programme. VHP severely condemns this. Hence Hameed Ansari should apologise to the people of the country”, he urged.

He also said that despite the government declaring two days holiday on 29th and 30th September for the Navarathri festival, Father Muller Educational Institution had not followed it.

“We also consulted the management demanding holidays for the students but the management has agreed to give only one day as holiday”, he said.
