Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajarangdal organised protest against anti-Hindu attitude of state government, here in Sanghanikethan on Sunday July 23.

Addressing the protesters, RSS leader Na Seetharam told that though attempts were made to destroy the essence of Hinduism from past several years no communal forces succeeded in their task. “Hindu society has no death,” he said adding that they will not be scared of the government that falsely implicated the Hindus.

Jagadish Shenava, district president of VHP said that police department has failed to arrest the accused in the murder of Sharath, attempt to murder of Pawan Raj and Chiranjeev, but the police could arrest the accused in murder of Ashraf within 48 hours. Sharath’s parents wanted to donate his organs but the anti Hindu chief minister and district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai shattered their dreams, making delay in announcing death of Sharath by 20 hours.

“The anti-nationals from Perliya in BC Road pelted stones on the funeral procession of Sharath. Probably for the the first time in the history of Mangaluru, cases have been booked under IPC 308 and Hindu leaders were made absconding. I also urge police department to book section 308 against those who have pelted the stone on the funeral procession,” he said.

Taking a jibe at Ramanath Rai, he said that District in-charge minister goes to religious center seeking the arrest of the accused in Sharath’s murder, but when it comes to arresting the Hindu leaders, he directly gives orders.

Bajarangdal Prantha Samyojak Raghu Sakleshpur said, “We Hindus will never lose patience and always respect the constitution of India.”

VHP Prantha Karayadksha MB Puranik also spoke.

Protesters also demanded NIA probe into Sharath murder case and withdrawal of cases against the Hindu leaders.
