Mangaluru: Two persons were arrested by Barke station police for making phone calls using fake SIM cards from the district prison.

Ashuthosh alias Rahim (40) and Praveen Anil Monteiro (26) are the arrested.

The duo was released from judicial custody recently after being arrested earlier in January and June this year for making calls.

Police had raided the district prison few weeks back. They had confiscated a few mobile phones. Probe into the call details revealed that Rahim and Monteiro had made calls from the prison.
