University College Mangaluru opens admissions to its Degree Courses

Mangaluru: The University College Mangaluru a constituent college of Mangalore University, located in the heart of the city, with a magnificent history of 152 years has commenced its admission processes for the academic year 2020-21.
It has been drawing the attention of students of the state and neighboring states with its academic performance and achievements in extracurricular activities.

About the college

With its extraordinary overall performance, the University College Mangaluru has achieved ‘A’ grade by the NAAC and identified as the College with Potential Excellence (CPE) by the UGC. Recently, the college has appeared in the top 200 colleges in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). Experienced professors, service-minded Non-teaching staff, library with more than 70,000 books, outfield games, NCC, NSS, Red Cross, Rovers and Rangers, student union, more than 25 associations for extra-curricular activities and various scholarships provide greater opportunities to students for the overall growth.

Course Duration:
The college follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) model and all courses are of 6 semesters, each Semester with 16 weeks.

  • Students must have passed the PUC examination. 
  • Visit the College website (www.universitycollegemangalore.com ) to get the additional information and download the application form, filled in application forms with relevant documents that can be submitted in the college office 23-07-2020 onwards and before 31-07-2020.   • Applications should mention the combination of their will on a priority basis.
  • With the application should submit the photocopies of the following documents: PUC marks card, SSLC marks card, Transfer certificate, character certificate, income certificate with reservation certificate and caste certificate (For SC/ST and category 1 students). Originals of the Aadhaar card of the student and parents are also needed.

Filled applications with required documents must be submitted in the college office on or before 31-07-2020. The selection list will be published on 05-08-2020. The interview date will be mentioned in the selection list.
