Mangaluru: Dr. Mohammed Rehan Sayeed MBBS, DNB (General Surgery), DNB (Cardiothoracic), FRCS (Edinburgh), MD has joined the Unity Hospital’s Cardiac Unit as Senior Consultant Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon.

He has 14 years of of professional experience to his credit and has worked previously as Senior Consultant in Apollo Hospital, Chennai, Apollo Hospital, Bangalore, Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore and also at the Frontier Heart and Lung Centre, Bangalore.

His special interests include, Endoscopic Valve surgery – Non sternotomy approaches and mentoring surgeons in MICS, minimally invasive coronary artery bypass grafting surgery, Hybrid Cardiac Surgery, Mitral Valve repair procedures, Heart failure surgery, Artificial heart & devices and  heart transplantation, Aortic Aneurysm Surgery and Tracheal reconstructive surgery.
