Mangaluru: Unity Health Complex, celebrated the 66th Republic day here on Monday. Dr.Jayaram Shenoy, Consultant Senior General & Laparoscopic Surgeon presided over the  ceremony as the Chief Guest. Dr. C.P. Habeeb Rahman (Chairman) and Dr.Ashfaque Mohammed shared the dais on this great occasion.

Dr.C.P.Habeeb Rahman in his presidential address stated, “On our 66th Republic Day we at Unity Health Complex will work towards development to recognize the position of India in the International field. He also stated that honesty & sincerity is what makes everyone great in whichever field he or she works.  

In keeping with the theme of his speech, a special Invitee Mr.Keshav Auto Rickshaw Driver was honored for his honesty and sincerity.

Mr. Keshav, an Auto rickshaw driver, who has proved himself in his field had elevated the name of his colleagues by his exemplary act of honesty and sincerity as experienced by the Chairman of the Unity Complex at the the Mangalore Railway Station where he had lost his mobile phone and indeed, had lost hopes of ever getting it back. However, Keshav sincerely returned it after he found it.

Lalitha – Senior Lab Technologist, Mrs. Kasthuri- Female Nursing Orderly, Mr.Benedict  D’souza – Watchman, the employees who have completed 20yrs of service in unity were also honored on the occasion.
