Mangaluru: Two tourists from Mathikere, Bengaluru were saved by the Lifeguards at Panambur Beach here on Saturday October 2.

The rescue operation to bring back the two youngsters from the watery grave lasted for about 45 minutes.

Krishna Prasad (20) and Rakshit (20) were on a trip to Mangaluru from Bengaluru. A lifeguard Prajwal Bangera of the Panambur Beach conducted search operation for about 45 minutes in sea and saved the duo from drowning.

Panambur police arrived at the spot.
