Perla: Two young brothers reportedly committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree near their house in Pertaje here.

The deceased are identified as Nagesh (24) and Umesh (22). Both were coolie workers. Their father Shivaram died last year.

It is learnt that on Sunday February 7, both brothers had attended a programme in Bajekudlu. After they returned in the evening, Nagesh again went out. Sometime later, Umesh too followed.

As they did not return until next morning, the worried family members and locals launched a search. To their dismay, the brothers were found hanging from a tree.

The reason for committing suicide is not yet ascertained. They are survived by mother and a younger brother.

Badiadka police have registered a case.
