Mangaluru: Two more persons from the Dakshina Kannada district tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday, May 18. The tally of the district has now gone up to 54.

The two new cases are a 30-year-old man from Karopady in Vittal, who recently returned from Mumbai, and a 55-year-old woman from Barebail.

It can be noted that the district saw a spike in cases after 15 Dubai returnees tested positive for Covid-19 a few days ago. After a day, two more from the district tested positive.
