Kasaragod: Two labourers from Rajasthan working at a solar park site drowned in a lake while taking bath at Karakkod, Kanhangad on October 18.

The deceased labourers are Rakharam (23) and Yellaram (19).

The tragic incident occurred when the two went to take a dip in a nearby lake after work in the evening. When they did not return at night, their co-workers went in search of them and traced their bodies.

The bodies were retrieved by Kanhangad fire service personnel and Ambalathara police team in a joint operation.

Their bodies are now kept in the district hospital.
