Karkala: Two people lost their lives in a tragic accident between a bus and an auto-rickshaw at Shivapura near Hebri on Sunday evening, October 2.

Guru Prasad (26), auto driver and his brother Vasanth (30) were both travelling in the ill-fated auto. An Udupi-bound mini bus collided into the auto. The auto was completely damaged in the accident. While Guru Prasad was killed on the spot, Vasanth succumbed at Manipal Hospital.

A case was registered at Hebri police station.
