Ullal: In a tragic incident two 14 year old boys were killed after losing control over the two wheeler they were riding.

The accident took place here on April 1 near Ansar Nagar which comes under the Konaje station limits.

The deceased have been identified as Tameem and Zakir, both 14 years old and residents of Montepadav. They were studying in 8th standard at the Al-Madina Manjanady Islamic Complex school.

Tameem left home in his father Khalid’s Activa to recharge. As the recharge shop in Taudugoli cross was closed they headed towards Manjanady. When they reached a junction near Al-Madina Complex, Tameem lost control over the vehicle and toppled. As a result Tameem died on the spot and Zakir who was critically injured in the mishap was taken to Mangaluru hospital. But he breathed his last succumbing to injuries.

Zakir is the son of Kunhimonu and Zara from Montepadav.

A case has been registered at Konaje police station in this regard.
