Mangalore:  It is been almost  ten days since  a long standing tree fell on a house behind Kadri bus stand on July 10, not only damaging the house but also denting the public property around it.

A drinking water pipe which was ruptured during the incident, remains in the same condition even today with the water overflowing and getting wasted.

“It has almost been over a week now since the incident took place and the drinking water is going waste here”, said a resident.

The locals also claimed that they have complained about the flowing water that has   staggered around the adjacent bus stand. However the neither the forest department nor the Corporation has taken any action with regards to this.

The Congress Corporator Sabitha Misquith and Kadri Corporator DK Ashok Kumar  need to take up the issue, the locals said.
