Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh informed that train services for migrant labourers to travel to their native places have begun from Saturday, May 9.

The DC informed that the district administration will arrange for transport facilities to bring the migrant labourers to the railway station and that they need not come on their own.

First preference will be given to those workers who registered through the Sevasindhu online. Unless and until the district administration intimates the migrant labourers, they need not come to the railway station, she said.
