Mangaluru: Soon after an LPG Tanker overturned near Nekkilady, 40 kms from here, the flow of traffic on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru Highway has slowed to a snails place.

According to Puttur Traffic Police, the LPG Tanker overturned a kilometer away from Uppinangady while it was coming towards Mangaluru. The traffic on this stretch of road was stopped following suspicion of leakage of LPG gas from the tanker.

The traffic coming towards Mangaluru has been diverted from Nekkilady towards Puttur. The traffic towards Bengaluru will be going via Puttur, the police said. Normal flow will be restored by evening after the oil company personnel plug the possible leakage.
