Karkala: A woman was killed in an accident between a private bus and a tipper at Jantra near Belman here on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

The deceased has been identified as Mokshika.

Two persons suffered serious injuries and have been admitted to a private hospital. More than 22 passengers in the bus escaped with minor injuries, said sources.

Due to the accident, both the front side of the tipper and the bus was completely damaged.

Karkala rural police rushed to the spot and registered a case.
