Kasargod: An endosulfan affected man died after a tipper lorry hit him near Cherkala on February 23.

The deceased is identified as Khalid (37), a resident of Bavikere Nusrathnagar.

The mishap occured when the victim was leaving his mother-in-law’s house. Khalid was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital but succumbed to the injuries.

It is learnt that his brother and a sister too are victims of the deadly endosulfan.

The police have taken the lorry into custody and a case has been registered at Vidyanagar Police Station.
