Moodbidri: A house in the Amburi colony in Beluvai Gram panchayat limits has been damaged due to thunder and heavy rain on September 28.

The lightening hit the electric service wire connected to the house of Laxmi. It was completely burnt and damaged the walls. People living in the house had a narrow escape and nobody is hurt.

Laxmi and her two children are in shock after thunder hit their house.

The House wall has been completely damaged and the electricity has been discrupted.

Beluvai Gram panchayat members Raghu Poojary, Aneesh Dsouza visited the house.

With the help of locals the family members have been shifted to their relative’s house.

The thunder has also damaged the house of neighbour Girija Appu Naik and power supply has been stopped.
