In an unfortunate incident on Sunday around 6 pm, three youths went missing at Panambur beach after being struck by waves. The individuals have been identified as Milan (20), Likhith (18), and Nagaraj (24).
Milan, employed as a Meesho delivery boy, Likhith, a first-year PUC student at Rosa Mystica College in Kaikamba, and Nagaraj, serving as a supervisor at MMR company, Mungaru Junction in Baikampady, are all residents of Porkody.
Concerned authorities have launched a search operation to locate the missing youths and ensure their safety. The incident underscores the importance of vigilance and caution while enjoying recreational activities at coastal areas.
