Bantwal: Punjalkatte police have arrested three persons who were transporting cattle in a mini-lorry on Tuesday November 17.
Kumara, Paramesha and P Krishna are the arrested. Police have seized the vehicle which was carrying six Buffaloes and one cow.

Police who were patrolling in Punjalkatte learnt about cattle traffickers. It is learnt that the accused were illegally transporting the cattle to a slaughterhouse in Kerala.

Police officer Lathesh Kumar, ASI Giriyappa, staff Venkappa, Devappa MK, Mahesh, Mohan Naik and Ibrahim carried out the operation.

The accused were produced before a court in Bantwal.
