Mangaluru: A youth was killed while another suffered grievous injuries after a lorry collided into their bike at Thokkottu near here on Saturday, November 4.

Rajesh Veigas, a resident of Bajal is said to be in critical condition while the identity of the deceased person is not known.

Following the accident, irate locals staged a protest blaming the bad condition of the roads here as the reason for increasing number of accidents. Vehicular traffic was disrupted in the area for nearly an hour.
