Thirthahalli case: BJP demands CBI probe

Mangaluru: With regards to the recent Nandita’s death case MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik held a press meet at the BJP office here on Wednesday November 5.

MLC Karnik agitated on the proceeding on the Congress, he made allegation that the State has suffered after Congress came to power.

Karnik said, “The number of atrocities on women has been increased, members of Hindu organizations are booked in false cases, Law and order has failed in the state and the police officers are acting as puppets of the Congress party.”

Karnik directly blamed the inefficiency of the State government and the Police department that has led to Nandita’s death, which has created violence in Thirthahalli.

The government should intervene in Nandita’s death case and the case should be handed over to the CBI. The culprits should be arrested and punished severely. In Nanditha’s death case, police have not arrested any of the culprits so far, which the BJP strongly condemns, he added.

BJP leaders Monappa Bhandary, Kishore Rai, Shantha R, Divakar Samani, Ravinshanker Mizar and others were also present.
